Nomad Music Works — contemporary orchestral music, live orchestra hire, orchestral recording, arranging and orchestration for symphonic projects anywhere in the world.

Ambitious orchestral projects, built around the idea.
Nomad Music Works creates and delivers ambitious orchestral projects and contemporary orchestral music for artists, composers, labels, festivals, film teams, brands and cultural institutions.

§ 02 — Core
- 01Robert AmesMusic Director & Founding Partner
Conductor, composer, curator — one of the defining forces in contemporary orchestral music of the last two decades. Robert leads Nomad's musical direction, orchestral design and the shaping of ambitious ideas into live and recorded form, moving fluidly between concert hall, film score, festival stage and studio record. His collaborators read like a map of modern music — from Radiohead and Frank Ocean to Mica Levi, Taylor Swift, Philip Glass and Hildur Guðnadóttir — and his ear for translation between worlds is what makes the impossible commissions actually land.
- 02Saloni ThakkarExecutive Producer & Founding Partner
Producer and artist manager with deep experience across major live music, touring and orchestral projects — moving artists, orchestras and shows across continents, time zones and cultures. Saloni leads Nomad's production strategy, budgets, logistics and delivery, and is the operational spine the whole collective is built on. Unflappable, ferociously well-connected and trusted by artists and institutions worldwide — quite simply the best in the game, and the founding partner every project wishes it had.
- 03Galya BisengalievaArtistic Director
Kazakh-British composer, producer and violinist — one of the most singular voices working at the meeting point of experimental classical music, electronics and filmic sound. Galya leads Nomad's artistic vision, sound-world and artist-facing creative direction, bringing an uncompromising taste level and a genuinely original musical language to every project. Her acclaimed solo records on One Little Independent draw on Central Asian traditions, modular electronics and contemporary classical writing, and her playing and scoring credits span everything from Actress, Moor Mother and Jlin to Pauline Oliveros, Suzanne Ciani, Laurie Spiegel and Terry Riley, alongside major film work.
